Why functional to technical? Most Odoo projects fail at the hand-off between what the business needs and what the developer builds. Graduates speak both languages, which is the most in-demand profile at Odoo partner companies across Bangladesh and the GCC.

FAQ

Odoo training: frequently asked questions.

Still deciding? Ask us on WhatsApp

What is the best Odoo training in Bangladesh for a career?

VexaNext's Odoo ERP Techno-Functional Development course is a 5-month, 42-session program on Odoo 19 and 20 that covers both sides of Odoo work: configuring business apps as a functional consultant and building custom modules as a developer. It ends with a deployed capstone project, a GitHub portfolio and career support, and is taught by Zahed Hasan, an engineering manager who builds production Odoo systems.

How much does the Odoo course cost?

The Online Live program is BDT 18,000 in total for the full 5 months (42 live sessions, 84 contact hours). The Recorded Crash Course is BDT 9,500 one-time with lifetime access. Corporate offline batches start from BDT 2,50,000 per batch (up to 20), quoted on batch size, venue and schedule.

How long is the course and how many classes are there?

The full program runs 21 weeks (about 5 months) with 2 classes per week: 42 instructor-led sessions. Online classes are 2 hours each (84 hours in total); corporate offline classes are 2 hours 30 minutes each (105 hours), with the extra 30 minutes used for supervised lab time.

Do I need programming experience or prior Odoo knowledge?

No prior Odoo experience is required. Basic computer skills are enough to start; any programming exposure helps. Python, PostgreSQL, Linux and Git are taught from the basics in Phase 2 before Odoo development begins.

What does techno-functional mean in Odoo?

A techno-functional Odoo consultant understands how a business runs in Odoo (sales, purchase, inventory, accounting, manufacturing, HR, POS) and can also write the code that extends it: models, views, security, reports, integrations and deployment. It is the most in-demand profile at Odoo partner companies because it closes the gap between what the business asks for and what the developer builds.

Which Odoo version is taught?

The course is built on Odoo 19 and Odoo 20, including the JSON-2 external API introduced in Odoo 19 and the OWL frontend framework. You also learn the upgrade path between versions, so the skills carry over to Odoo 17 and 18 projects.

Is the course online or offline?

Both. The Online Live program runs 2 live classes per week from anywhere. Corporate offline batches run at your office or at the VexaNext classroom in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. A self-paced recorded course is also available.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. Graduates earn the VexaNext Certified Odoo Techno-Functional Developer certificate with at least a 60% overall score, 80% attendance and a deployed capstone. Recorded course learners receive a completion certificate.

What jobs can I get after the course?

Typical roles are Odoo Functional Consultant, Junior Odoo Developer, Techno-Functional Consultant and ERP Implementation Associate, at Odoo partner companies in Bangladesh and the GCC, in in-house IT teams, or as a freelancer. Career support includes CV and LinkedIn review, mock interviews and a GitHub portfolio.

What laptop do I need?

A laptop with 8 GB RAM at minimum (16 GB recommended), running Ubuntu or Windows with WSL.
